Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your data from ClientLift — whether you're a ClientLift customer, someone whose contact information a customer imported into their CRM, or someone who connected a Facebook or Instagram account to ClientLift.
How to request deletion
Email info@clientlift.ai from the email address associated with your request, and tell us what you'd like deleted:
- Your ClientLift account and all associated business data, or
- A specific contact record you believe was imported into a customer's CRM, or
- The connection between ClientLift and your Facebook/Instagram account.
We'll verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's done.
Removing a business yourself
An admin can remove a business at any time under Settings > Businesses. The window says exactly what happens before it is confirmed. The business disappears at once, every connected account is disconnected at once (our stored access is deleted), and scheduled posts are cancelled. For 30 days its content is kept so that support can restore it if you change your mind (write to info@clientlift.ai; the accounts would have to be connected again). After 30 days everything is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Posts already published on Facebook, Instagram or another platform stay there.
Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram yourself
If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account, you can revoke ClientLift's access immediately yourself, two ways:
- In ClientLift: Settings > Integrations > Disconnect (this stops access), or Disconnect and delete Meta data (this also deletes the figures and summaries ClientLift stored from Facebook and Instagram, and removes the Page name, post link and chosen account from your posts, which themselves stay), or
- In Meta's own settings: Facebook > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Business Integrations (or Instagram > Settings > Apps and Websites), and remove ClientLift from the list.
Disconnecting revokes our access token immediately. It stops future access but doesn't retroactively delete content ClientLift already published to your account (that content lives on Facebook/ Instagram's own systems, controlled by Meta, not us) — to remove already-published posts, do that directly on Facebook/Instagram.
What gets deleted
A full account-deletion request removes your business's data from ClientLift's systems — account details, brand profile, generated content records, and CRM data — except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax compliance. See our Privacy Policy for more on retention.
